Williams County Idol - Notes of
Interest
** This is Williams County Idol, not American Idol,
although the structure and format may emulate each other, there is
no affiliation with either.
** Contestants must arrive early the night of each competition for
stage and show notes for the evening. Contestants arriving after 7
p.m. will be considered a no-show and will be disqualified. All
contestants who will be seated in the auditorium will require a
purchased seat.
** It is recommended contestants try to provide their own music CD’s
with a prepared song. TV monitors will be provided for all but it is
not recommended to utilize them as this will diminish the stage
performance.
** Fit the part: Pick a song that suits you, wear clothing that fits
your song, use the entire stage.
** Winning contestants in the first qualifier round will be
announced on Tuesday, November 8th on the Williams County Idol Web
Site……

** Winning contestants in the second round will be announced on
Tuesday, November 15th on the Williams County Idol Web Site……

** Winning contestants in the third round will be announced on
Tuesday, November 22nd on the Williams County Idol Web Site……

Tuesday, December 6th on the Williams County Idol Web Site……

** All finale contestants will be required to perform together one
group number. Practice and song will be announced at or before the
fourth round.
If you are unsure of any issues, please ASK any Chamber
representative. The following are names and numbers of the contact
individuals for each Chamber. Williams County Idol has the right to
utilize audio, video, head shots and bio’s of each contestant
throughout the competition.
